The Town Ranger Service set up by the Town Council is out and about in Dunstable doing all those little jobs that we all often walk or drive past thinking ’why does somebody not clean that up or sort that out’.
The Town Ranger, Jamie Hodges, who is pictured below with his very distinctive van, has become a familiar sight on the streets of Dunstable as he goes around removing graffiti and fly tipping, cleaning up grot spots, cutting back overgrown vegetation and cleaning pavements.
The introduction of the Town Ranger will allow the Town Council to respond quickly and effectively to tackle environmental eyesores around the town. This new service will help to make Dunstable a better place to live, work and visit.
The Town Ranger is equipped with a wide range of tools including a high power pressure washer, a litter vacuum, a strimmer and many other useful implements so that he can carry out a wide range of works and repairs across public areas.
