HSHAZ activities and community engagement has included activities at wider events including:
- DTC’s events in Priory Gardens and Grove House Gardens
- Town Centre events on Ashton Square and Middle Row
- Town Centre events at The Quadrant Shopping Centre
Between April 2022 and March 2024 Dunstable Town Council’s match funding for the HSHAZ, funded activities relating to heritage, history and culture at the Town Council’s events, Town Centre events, Middle Row Markets, Grove Corner, youth and community projects and Priory House, as well as individual workshops.

- Dunstable Festival of Archaeology in conjunction with Around the World in Priory Gardens and Roar into Archaeology at The Quadrant in 2021, 2022 and 2023, both celebrating the HSHAZ and the Council for British Archaeology Festival of Archaeology
- Celebration of Heritage Open Days in 2023 coinciding with Middle Row Market
- Priory Rocks: The Hidden History of Priory House and Priory Church
- Lego Landmarks workshops
- Flintknapping workshops
- History of gin experience
- Drawing on the past workshops
- Food Historians showcasing historic food demonstrations, tasting sessions and hands-on workshops
- Prehistoric, Roman, Anglo-Saxon, medieval and later re-enactment groups
- Prehistoric living history workshops and activities
