Position: Market porter x2
Location: Middle Row, Dunstable Town Centre
Salary: £12.38 per hour, pay award pending
Hours: 8 hours per month (split shift to be worked on the second and third Saturday of the month)
Dunstable Town Council are recruiting for Market Porters for our twice monthly Saturday Markets held on Middle Row. Portering duties comprise the erection and dismantling of market stalls from 7 am until 9 am and then dismantling market stalls from 3 pm until 5 pm every second and third Saturday of the month from March until December (4 hours per Saturday). Extra hours will also be on offer for events and extra Christmas markets.
The Council would also be happy to consider applications from individuals who might only be available for the morning shift or the afternoon shift. Applicants must be able to move and erect gazebo type market stalls (training will be given).
